Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Summary

Project services (websites & apps)

  • You can stop a project at any time, in writing. There is no cancellation fee.
  • The fee is paid in two halves: 50% before work starts and 50% once the project is finished. The final payment is made first, and the project is handed over after it.
  • What you have already paid is not refunded. It covers the place reserved for you in our schedule and the work carried out on your project.
  • A different arrangement — the whole fee upfront, or another split — can be agreed with us in your project conversation before work starts.

Discord bot subscriptions

  • Cancel yourself at any time from your dashboard. No cancellation fee.
  • You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Refunds are available within 14 days if the service was not delivered or does not work as described.

Your statutory consumer rights always apply and are never waived by this policy.

1. What we sell

Opus Solutions sells two different things, and they cancel and refund differently:

  • Project services. Custom websites, online stores, landing pages, mobile applications and student graduation projects. This is bespoke work priced per project in a written quote, paid directly to us, built by people over a period of time, and handed over to you. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.
  • Discord bot subscriptions. A recurring subscription for a standardised bot product that activates automatically on your Discord server after payment. Billed monthly or yearly, and renews automatically until you cancel.

Part A below covers project services. Part B covers bot subscriptions. Part C applies to both. Please read the Part that matches what you bought — the rules in the other Part do not apply to you.

Part A

Project services (websites & apps)

Applies to custom website, store, landing page, application and graduation project work quoted and invoiced directly by Opus Solutions.

A1. How a project is paid for

Unless we agree otherwise with you in writing, a project fee is paid in two equal halves:

  • 50% before work starts. This first half is what puts your project into our schedule and pays for the first stage of work. Nothing is built before it arrives.
  • 50% once the project is finished. When the work is complete and you have reviewed it, the remaining half falls due.

Payment comes before handover. The final half is paid first, and the finished project — the files, the administrative access, the accounts, and the source code where your quote includes it — is handed over after that payment has arrived. That is the order on every project.

The 50/50 split is our default, not a fixed rule. Before work starts you are welcome to agree something else with us: the whole fee upfront, or another schedule that suits your side. Say so in your project conversation on this website or on WhatsApp, and whatever the two of us agree there in writing is what applies to your project — it is then written into your quote. Once work has started, the schedule that was agreed stands.

Hosting, domains, licences, stock assets and developer accounts are separate from the project fee unless your quote states that they are included. We tell you before committing to any such cost on your behalf.

A2. Cancelling a project

Either of us may end a project by writing to the other — on WhatsApp, or in your project conversation on this website. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

When a project is cancelled we stop work and send you a final statement setting out what has been paid and what was done. Section A3 explains what happens to the money.

A3. What happens to the money

  • What you have already paid is not refunded. The first half is not a refundable deposit. It buys the place reserved for you in our schedule and the work carried out on your project, and both are spent from the moment the project begins — time held for one client cannot be resold at short notice. This applies whether you cancel on the first day or half-way through.
  • You are not invoiced for anything further. If you end the project, the remaining half is not owed. You walk away having paid what you had already paid, and nothing more is charged.
  • After handover a project is not refundable. The work has been delivered and the deliverable is yours. If something is wrong with it, that is a support matter: the one-week post-delivery support window covers bug fixes, usage guidance and minor adjustments.
  • If we cancel, or if we never carry out the work. Where we end a project for a reason that is not your breach or non-payment, or where we took a payment and never carried out the work at all, you are refunded what you paid for work that was not done.
  • Third-party costs are not refundable— hosting, domains, licences, stock assets, developer accounts — because they were bought from someone else on your instruction. Wherever the provider allows it, they are registered in your name and stay with you.

Where a refund is due under this section it is returned by the same route the payment came in, normally within 5 business days of the final statement.

Nothing in this section limits a right you hold under the consumer law of your country. Where such a right applies, it overrides anything stated above.

A4. If we cannot reach you

While we are waiting on content, feedback, approval or access from you, the project schedule pauses. If a project stays paused because we cannot reach you, and at least two written reminders sent to the contact details you gave us have gone unanswered, we may treat the project as dormant, close the file and settle it on the basis set out in A3. Restarting a dormant project may need a fresh quote and a new start date, because the time reserved for you will have been reassigned.

A5. How to cancel a project or ask about a project refund

Message us on WhatsApp at +966 59 723 2969, with the project name or the reference number from your request, and tell us that you want to stop. You can also write it in your project conversation on this website. We reply with the final statement. Email support is not available at the moment. WhatsApp and your project conversation are the two channels that reach us.

Project fees are paid directly to Opus Solutions, so project settlements are issued by us. The payment provider that handles bot subscriptions is not involved in project work and cannot refund it.

Part B

Discord bot subscriptions

Applies only to the recurring Discord bot subscriptions bought through the checkout on this website.

B1. Cancelling a subscription

  • You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops all future billing.
  • Access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. It is not cut off on the day you cancel.
  • After that period ends, the bot stops running on your server. Your saved configuration is retained.
  • If you subscribe again later, you start a new subscription at the price listed at that time.

B2. Refunds on a subscription

Bot products are digital and are delivered immediately, so we do not offer refunds simply for a change of mind after the service has been activated and used. We do issue refunds in these cases:

  • Not delivered — you paid but the bot was never activated on your server. Full refund.
  • Materially different from the description— the product does not do what this website said it does. Full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Duplicate or accidental charge— you were billed twice for the same period. Full refund of the duplicate.
  • Billed after cancelling— you were charged for a renewal after you had already cancelled. Full refund of that charge.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Requests are usually answered within 2 business days.

B3. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country, including any statutory right to cancel. Where such a right applies, it overrides anything stated above.

Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record for the sale. That provider may also issue a refund under its own buyer terms, independently of this policy. This applies to bot subscriptions only; project work is invoiced and settled directly by Opus Solutions.

B4. How to cancel or request a refund

  1. Sign in at opussolutions.xyz/login.
  2. Open the subscription page in your dashboard.
  3. Use the cancel option next to the active subscription, and confirm.

To request a refund, or if you cannot reach your dashboard, message us on WhatsApp at +966 59 723 2969 with the email address used at purchase and the approximate date. For bot support you can also reach us on our Discord server: https://discord.gg/dMpJWpxGD2 Email support is not available at the moment.

If you paid through a third-party provider acting as merchant of record, that provider can also be contacted directly under its own buyer terms.

Part C

Applies to both

C1. Payment disputes

If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first on WhatsApp at +966 59 723 2969— we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute, and the refund cases above are handled without argument.

While a dispute is open on an account, the related subscription may be suspended, and work on a related project may be paused, until it is resolved.

C2. Contact

Email support is not available at the moment. Please use one of the channels above.
